Major William “Bill” Ritch

Major (MAJ) William “Bill” Ritch is an Army Ranger with over 28 years of civilian and military service. MAJ Ritch earned the Combat Infantry Badge and two bronze stars over two tours in Iraq. He has led thousands of soldiers over the course of course his career in the Army, and taught Leadership and Military History at UCLA for four years. MAJ Ritch is currently a Supervisory Detective for the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) where he has worked in homicide, major crimes, and gang enforcement. MAJ Ritch earned a BA from San Diego State University, and has two young children who play competitive sports.
 

Major Thomas Maranda

Thomas Maranda served for 28 years in the United States Marshals Service, where he was the Assistant Chief Deputy for the Southern District of California, one of the agency’s most active districts. During his tenure, Thomas led the investigation and apprehension of more than 1,000 violent felons annually, the protection of 40 Federal Judges, and the housing and transportation of 3,000 federal inmates each month. He also served for nearly three decades in the US Marine Corps Reserve, U.S. Air Force Reserve, and California Air National Guard. Among his leadership roles in the military, he commanded a 400-person police force composed of Air Force, Army, and Department of Defense civilian officers tasked with safeguarding a base population of 40,000 residents and billions of dollars of critical national security assets. Thomas is the proud father of three remarkable daughters who excel in various sports, including softball, lacrosse, field hockey, and soccer. He has a BS in Criminal Justice from San Diego State University and a Master’s in National Security Studies from the Naval War College.


Mr. Tommy Scott

Tommy Scott is a former SWAT Team Leader who has 34 years of federal government service as a law enforcement officer. Mr. Scott has spent the past 22 years as a Special Agent with the Department of Homeland Security where he led national security, public safety, and terrorism investigations. Mr. Scott most recently served as a National Program Manager for his agency's training and career development program in which he oversaw the on-the-job training for newly-hired Special Agents, where he trained over 120 agents. Mr. Scott also served 17 years as a member of the Los Angeles Homeland Security SWAT Team where he planned, led, and participated in more than 250 high-risk tactical operations, for more than 10 of those years serving as the SWAT assistant team leader and team leader. Mr. Scott has a BA from the University of Rochester. He has a son who is freshman in college.
